Luke Gale is one of the leading rugby league half backs in the game. As a player he has received the Albert Goldthorpe Medal twice and looks set to win it for an unprecedented third time in a row. He is England's starting number 7 and more importantly, he's a great teacher and a warm person.
As a player I've seen so many of these camps, but I wanted to create one especially for the half backs, being a half back requires a different set of skills to other positions, and I felt that by offering this camp, I could do something different and special, that could really help develop that talent.
Sessions at the Luke Gale Academy are all about learning in a fun and safe environment. We want to involve everyone and help each child to develop their own talent. Our sessions focus on rugby league halfbacking, but are also about attitude and much more, so are suitable for everyone regardless of skill level.
